Downtown Scholars Initiative (DSI) at the University of Central Florida in collaboration with the Parramore Education and Innovation District held its first Black and Gold Takeover Day at Jones High School. The event introduced students to the many opportunities available to them at UCF through classroom presentations, spirit competitions, tabling from various registered student organizations and programs, a selfie station, photo opportunities with Knightro, and more. Alexandra Werth, assists in event organization, coordination, planning, set-up, recruitment, tabling, decorating, social media platforms, photography/videography, and any other additional needs for events to run smoothly.
